Ibbi Almufti, from ARUP, is a guest lecturer at SURI-lead course on risk management

On May 26th, the SURI-lead Regional Risk Analysis and Risk Management course (CEE 296) hosted distinguished guest lecturer Ibrahim Almufti with a presentation on the University of British Columbia's Campus Risk Assessment and Resilience Strategy. Besides a detailed description of their work with UBC, he highlighted additional examples from ARUP's Advanced Technology and Research group to provide his perspective on the available methods and how they can be used by engineers to support decision making on risk and resilience.
