Loos Awarded Funding by GPSDD
Supporting Equitable Disaster Recovery Through Mapping
Sabine Loos was awarded funding for a new project on “Supporting Equitable Disaster Recovery Through Mapping” by the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data. SURI efforts will involve multi-source data integration to assess post-earthquake impact in Nepal through an exciting collaboration with: Earth Observatory of Singapore (EOS), Nanyang Technological University (lead); Kathmandu Living Labs (KLL); Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team (HOT); World Bank Global Facility for Disaster Risk Reduction (GFDRR) and World Bank Big Data Program; and NASA Jet Propulsion Lab and Advanced Rapid Imaging and Analysis Center (NASA-JPL/ARIA).
