Sustainable Urban Systems Symposium

Dr. Surakitbanharn moderated a panel for the Sustainable Urban Systems Symposium, which brought the community and government stakeholders from around the Bay Area together to discuss and find solutions for local natural hazards. The symposium culminated the year-long CEE 224XYZ course project to capture the impacts of Bay Area sea-level rise on infrastructure, transportation networks, and vulnerable communities. Thank you to all the students and instructors (Derek Ouyang, Prof. Len Ortolano, Dr. Jenny Suckale, Prof. James Leckie, and Prof. Bruce Cain) for all the hard work.
